Apparently Wayne Rooney is the biggest brain to play for England in a long while, although anyone who saw the picture last week of him walking along the street licking a lollypop the size of a grapefruit might need some convincing.
He strikes me as having a lot more of Paul Gascoigne about him than Stephen Hawking, great player though.
