London’s where its at for international football tomorrow night with four games taking place in the capital. Brazil and Portugal have sold out the Emirates Stadium but some tickets are still available for Australia v Denmark at QPR’s Loftus Road, South Korea v Greece at Fulham’s Craven Cottage and Nigeria v Ghana at Griffen Park home of Brentford.
London’s a popular place for international teams because most of the players play in Europe and this saves some from having to travel to the Far East or South America, the stadiums are pretty good and London has so many immigrants that all these countries except for maybe the Koreans will have a large turnout of fans supporting them. Also teams like Brazil make a lot more money from a game in Europe than they do for one at home.
Ticket sales have been good for all the games so expect more matchups like these in London the next time there’s an international week or maybe in the summer.
