I can’t believe how the press and the Football Association are going totally overboard because England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has been getting jiggy with one of the FA’s secretary’s.

He’s an unmarried guy and she’s a single woman so what the hell has it got to do with anyone else and why the concerted campaign to get the guy fired for it.

If the FA don’t like the way he’s doing his job, pay off his contract, say thanks very much and goodbye, don’t try and give the impression that having a casual partner makes him unfit to coach a football team and therefore we don’t have to pay him.

The real kicker for Sven must be that his boss, FA Chief Executive Mark Palios, also had and an affair with the same secretary but he’s been cleared as a good guy.
