The festival of football that is Euro 2004 is taking place this summer in Portugal.
The Portuguese police have decided that to ensure the games are trouble free they’ll breath test anyone they don’t like the look of going into games.

This could spell disaster for England fans. It’s the height of summer, all matches will kickoff in the evening, you’re in Portugal with a gang of your mates and what else are you going to do but get stuck into the cheap beer.

I think the Portuguese will have to be pretty flexible with their rules to avoid the inevitable ‘clash of cultures’ that occurs at every major football tournament held in Europe.
