Tough luck

The Football Association’s made the right decision in agreeing not to put Liverpool into the Champions League next season if they win this season’s final against AC Milan, ahead of Everton.

Everyone knew the rules going into this season, the top four qualify. Everton have played above their potential to get where they are and earned the right to play in Europe.
You can’t take it away from them because UEFA have made a stupid rule not automatically allowing the holders to defend their title.

I agree. The FA has no right to change the rules at the end of the season because one team might win the competition.

What is UEFA thinking making a rule where the holders don’t get to defend their title?
