chi.jpgSeems like its all been kicking off with the Chinese under-23 football team in London. They’re in town as guests of Chelsea but earlier this week were moaning about the state of the pitches at Chelsea’s multi-million pound Cobham training centre. Yesterday things all boiled up in a game against a Queens Park Rangers XI at Rangers’s training ground at Harlington out near Heathrow Airport.

The game which was being handled by Premiership referee Dermot Gallagher had to be abandoned in the second half after a mass brawl in which a Chinese defender, Zheng Tao, was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital with a broken jaw. You can watch a clip on the BBC website. I bet Rangers fans wish their players would show as much fight in the Championship and its also a bit surprising that the Chinese weren’t kicking much ass.
