Getting an aerial view of London

If you fly into Heathrow Airport when coming to the UK, getting a window seat on the right side of the plane will give you a good view of London as the flight path of a lot of the incoming aircraft follows the River Thames from east to west, and many of the capital’s major landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and London Eye are clearly visible.
Below is a video taken on a plane coming into Heathrow, about two minutes in you can pick out The Oval cricket ground and Chelsea and Fulham’s football grounds.
