London Embassies

London being the capital of the UK is also the centre of diplomatic representation for foreign countries and all the main embassies are here, although many countries also have consulates and honorary consuls in cities such as Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham and Cardiff.

The majority of embassies in London are located in an area roughly from The Strand in the east, to Kensington in the west, bordered on the north by Paddington and the Marylebone Road, and south to Chelsea and the river, some will be further out and there’s talk of the US Embassy relocating to Isleworth near Heathrow.
