London weather changing

weather.jpgAutumn has arrived in London and the Southeast of England. Today began with high winds and sheeting rain and tornadoes did damage to property in towns to the north and south of the capital such as Luton and Farnborough.

The strong winds eventually blew the clouds out for a morning of blue skies but the forecast is for sunshine and showers this week with temperatures only reaching a high of around 57F(14C) by Wednesday. There’s definitely a fresher feel in the air and if you’re coming to London in the near future, bringing some kind of jacket or coat would be a good idea.

Here’s the current five day forecast for the London area.
