Look at me

This country’s getting madder by the day. The RAF is providing a fly past over the Beckham’s house in Hertfordshire tomorrow when they hold their ‘celebrity’ party for the England football team before they go to the World Cup.

The bash they’re holding at what’s known as Beckingham Palace seem’s to me another exercise in getting the Beckham’s in the papers and if I was a member of the England squad I wouldn’t bother turning up to be an extra in the next episode of the David and Victoria Story.

If they really want to have a party for the team have it after they’ve gone and won the World Cup not before, but as we know England won’t win it, all the publicity value is now and not in July.

One of the planes due to fly over is a World War 2 Lancaster bomber. It must be tempting to load it up and use the party as a practice run.
