Parks in London

lake1.jpgOne thing that London has that a lot of big cities lack is a large number of quality green spaces and parks, particularly in the central area of the city. The Royal Parks are very well maintained and located so that if you’re looking for a quiet, open space to get away from the noise and bustle of London there are a good number of places within fairly easy reach.

There is also variety in the parks with some known for their planting and trees, others have lakes and water features, some are popular sporting locations, while many also have bandstands or musical events. The links below offer reviews of some of the major parks in London.
