It unlikely London Mayor ‘Red’ Ken Livingstone will have sent any good wishes to Robert Tuttle the American ambassador on US Independence Day today. Livingstone has previously called him a ‘chiselling little crook’ and recently said he’d like to crush Tuttle in his car because the US Embassy quite rightly refuses to pay the extortionate London congestion charge.

As the mayor’s such a miserable bastard I’ll do the honours for him and wish all US visitors to London a happy 4th July.
