Thanks to Joe E. and Miss Leo for these two stories. First the NHS is letting British doctors use maggots to treat infected wounds.
This is not that big a departure for the NHS, they’ve been using them in hospital food for years.
Now that the cod stocks around the UK are down to the barebones, maybe something more exotic might be going on sale at the local chippie, if they can find enough of them.
