songkran.jpgLondon could be about to have the country’s and maybe the world’s biggest water fight this summer after around 100,000 people signed up for a flash mobbing event according to the Evening Standard.

Apparently a university student arranged the water fight with friends on the Facebook website and the momentum quickly built up. Now they’re hoping for a really huge turn out in Hyde Park at 1pm on 14 July.

Hyde Park’s a good location for it, in central London, easy to get to, has a lot of space and importantly the Serpentine lake, a quick way to fill up your Super Soaker or water pistol. So be aware if you’re going to be in London that weekend, they’ll be an army around with the latest water squirting gadgets looking for targets.
