Cocktail Time
If you’re in London and find yourself in the celebrity nightclub Movida think twice before saying ‘it’s my round’ for the drinks. The Guardian reports the Argyll Strret club has just launched its new Christmas cocktail under the name Flawless.
Made with a large measure of Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, some brown sugar, angostura bitters and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf, Flawless comes with an impressive price tag of £35,000. To justify the cost drinkers will also find an 11-carat white diamond ring in the bottom of the crystal glass.
No doubt some of the Premier League’s allstars are already getting set to buy half a dozen, but don’t try and follow suit unless you’ve got a serious bank account.
