Ahmed al-Jobori, who has one of the most thankless jobs in the world as Iraq’s tourism minister, has advised people not to go there until after the fighting stops.
Still one British couple want to go travelling in Iraq to do ’something groundbreaking’, probably their heads if al Qaeda get hold of them.

Hi Chris,
I’m an English teacher in Tokyo. Recently there
has been an anti-smoking campaign here with hundreds of no-smoking signs placed all over the city.
I’ve been taking pictures of these signs and I want to write an article comparing the Tokyo signs to similar signs in other cities.
I was wondering if you know anyone who would be willing to take pictures of no-smoking (or no-drinking) signs in London, and then e-mail them to me.
I can pay $50 or so (through paypal) or I can credit the photographer in the article. It might be a fun project for a young person.
Cheers,

Hi Rob, can’t think of anyone off hand but if I see any no-smoking signs I’ll photo and email you them.
Haven’t seen to many no-drinking signs in London yet thank god.
Some people I will never understand?
A holiday to Iraq to do something off the wall is over the top.
There is a limit.

At least he won’t get fired if numbers drop. By the way whatever happened to the Iraqi information minister.
