Flying high

Driving around town there’s still plenty of people flying England flags from their cars and the front of their houses even though the team was knocked out of the Euro championships last week.

If they’re still flying them once the tournament finishes on sunday it won’t be long before the first articles appear insinuating people are racist for having a flag.

I know some far right parties try to use the Union Jack and cross of St George as their own, but I bet a lot of ordinary people will continue to keep their flags up because they’re fed up hearing that they can’t fly their flag in their own country because someone might take offence.

Hey I wouldn’t want to risk offending one of the new refugees from Fuckedupistan. Better to tell the native British people to take their flags down and declare ‘we’re a multiracial society’.
