Sport England wants companies to ban emails on October 21st to increase office workers physical activity. If they think strolling from desk to desk is going to make much of a difference to I think they’re kidding people.
There’s no substitute for getting out and doing some real exercise that makes you sweat, and you’re not going to get that in an office environment.
Get some exercise
Get some exercise
The Mental Health Foundation wants doctors to put people who come to them with depression on an exercise programme rather than a pill popping one.
Sounds like the right idea to me. Whenever I have a good workout or a really hard game of football I get a natural buzz out of it and can’t wait for the next one.
Why risk people becoming drug dependent before giving them the opportunity to sweat away their problem.

Chris, Wait till you see what kind of a buzz you get from being in Vegas!
Come out in May! 2 pools, sauna, a short hop from the Strip….

I agree with that assessment. If you can push yourself through a workout you will feel better.
I also think this obsession with strong pains pills (2 Aleve = 10 Panadol) is leading people in the wrong direction.
If you have aches and pains try stretching, yoga, massage, tai chi, the stream room, a hot bath etc. but don’t keep shoving chemicals into yourslef.

I agree with Nick. Exercise, yoga and meditation are much better solutions than pills.
BTW, I am looking for London Blogs to add to my Blog-0-dex. Please send your suggestions.

Nick is practical. I agree with me, try Vegas.
I’m on a winning streak in life…not money. Come on out and soak up my happiness. I move in three weeks.
