I Love London film competition

ilovelondon.jpgFilmaka.com, an online network for undiscovered filmmakers, and LoveFiLM.com the online dvd rental service are holding a short film competition under the title I Love London that’s open to anyone to enter.

Films in the competition must be a maximum of five minutes long and on the theme of I Love London. They say as long as London is the central thread of the story, you can make it anywhere in the world, in any language but add subtitles if its not in English. The top 10 films, as judged by their London jury, will win US$500 each and will have their films distributed via LOVEFiLM’s digital download distribution network.

The closing date for entries is 7 September 2007 so you’ll have to be quick and the 10 winners will be announced on 26 September. The competition is free to enter and there’s a submission form on the Filmaka website. Below are the technical specs for any entries.
