The Sunday Times travel section raved about this place last week as the new ‘in’ location for the adventurous traveller.
Formerly run by the Spanish, then the French, this island is still pretty undeveloped and anyone looking to jet in for a Full Moon Party will be disappointed.
But if you’re looking for a location that has retained its local culture and customs, with just a hint of European influence, has great weather, beaches and unique people, Zamunda should be added to your list of places to get to.
