Its a jungle out there

You do have to wonder if there’s a correlation between being academically smart and having no common sense when you read about a scientist who takes a walk from his hotel in Malaysia, manages to get lost and even though he has a mobile phone with him waits two days to call for help, and then calls his wife in England.

Even more bizarre it takes another three days for him to be rescued. Some people should be confined to the hotel pool.
