The United Nations has released their verdict on the best place to live in the world and the list of the most and least livable countries.
Vancouver, Canada is meant to be the best place to live in the world and I’ve no reason to doubt it because I’ve only ever heard good things about the place.
London’s way down the list, no surprises there.
Norway is ranked as the most livable country in the world, with Australia #3, the US #10 and the UK #15. I was surprised the twenty least livable countries all were African.
I haven’t been to enough of these places to say whether the UN has it right or wrong but I’m sure a lot of people are looking for more than big city living.

Everyone knows the UK property market is one of the most inflated there is, but I can’t believe that there are even people here who will pay the £140,000 asking price for a 16×12ft beach hut in Dorset.
I think I’d spend the money on something a bit more adventurous.
