London’s warmest ever April

sun.jpgContrary to observations by certain Brazilian footballers, the Met Office have released figures showing this April has been the warmest since records began in 1659 and also that the period from May 2006 to April 2007 has been the warmest 12 months since 1659 as well. Its also been one of the driest April’s ever, London got 2mm of rain this month (you would have only got wet in the shower Baptista).

Temperatures are going to be up in the low 80sF in some places this weekend although the forecast for London is in the high 70s around 23/4 Celsius. The Met Office also predicts that this summer will be another hot one for the UK, which is nice if you’re here on a visit but be prepared for a hot, humid and stuffy experience if you use the Underground, sometimes when you go down to a platform you’re hit with a wall of warm air in those confined spaces and it doesn’t make it a very pleasant place to be.

As you said, temperatures is changed between past and now. It’s strange and I hope we enjoy the warmest ever April.
