Just watched a documentary on 9/11 conspiracy theories, lots of mad ideas being put forward by apparently rational people who don’t seem to want to face facts, including sadly some relatives of victims who seem intent on making it their life’s work to prove that the Bush government was behind the whole thing.
Probably the maddest theory, put forward on the programme by an investigative journalist and author with complete sincerity, was that the Pentagon was hit by a missile and not a plane and the missing crew and passengers have been given new lives by the US government.
The Israelis as usual were supposed to have had a hand in it, I guess bin Laden saying on his taped messages how his boys did the job is just a smoke screen.
Can’t wait for the Oliver Stone big screen take on 9/11.
