The government launched their Gambling Bill with a lot of fanfare recently with plans to loosen up the regulations on casinos.
Predictably the do-gooders have weighed in saying this will turn everyone into gambling addicts and Department of Culture’s done a u-turn.
Why are there so many people in this country who think the population needs protecting from itself.
Treat people like adults, if they screw up and blow their money, hey that’s just a hard lesson of life.
