British Olympic relay gold medal winner, Mark Lewis-Francis, has tested postive for cannabis after the European indoor championships.
Big deal, smoking a joint is not going to make him run faster but his explanation does win the prize for best bullshit excuse from sportsman so far this year.

He says quote ‘My only explanation is that I may, without realising it, have been in the presence of people who were smoking cannabis and that I passively inhaled their smoke’.
Lewis-Francis likes to give off the tough, moody image in interviews and the idea that he couldn’t see or smell what people next to him were smoking is ridiculous.
