I watched a fascinating programme last night about Free Runners, a group of young French guys who use the buildings and structures of wherever they are as a giant playground, by running up walls, jumping off roofs and balconies, swinging from drain pipes, lampposts and anything else available, all done with incredible speed and grace.
These guys in their late teens/ early twenties have the skill and strength of good gymnasts with the guts to push themselves to the limit jumping from building to building with no safety net.
After watching this, skateboarding or rollerblading seem tame and I can imagine loads of kids saying I want to be a FreeRunner.
Impressive stuff.

Just like to say that this free running stuff looks and sounds wicked and i would love to get into it, Jump London was a real inspiration.
yes a real inspiration kind of reminds you of childhood always looking for a bigger thirll a bigger platform to jump off, must have cracked my head open a few times…
it would be nice to see a groupe of free runners working on natural formations like rock,i live in the alps and can see the massive potential that free running has in this enviroment, nice to see some one taking riskes with out haveing to much bullshit attached!!!

London News
I think these were the guys in a couple of recent Nike commercials. One of the dudes is being chased by a chicken (don’t ask) and he’s jumping off all sorts of stuff. Very cool.
