tube.jpgThe London Assembly has launched an investigation and consultation into the travel arrangements in place for sports fans travelling to events in London. According to the Assembly around 250,000 people go to sports stadiums in London on an average autumn weekend but there’s no one in charge of actually making sure that adequate transport is available to move them around.

As part of this review they want to hear the fans stories of travelling to football, rugby, cricket and tennis matches in the capital and what could be done to improve them. They’re asking you to send them either by email to sportstravel@london.gov.uk or by letter to Sarah Hurcombe, PP10, London Assembly, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA by the 31 August 2007. If you’ve had any horror stories getting to or from games let them know.
