Can’t get my head around this Maxine Carr situation.
She’s the former girlfriend who lied her ass off for double child killer Ian Huntley.
Everybody saw the police videos of her spinning a story of how she was with him when the murders happened, when she was in a town a hundred miles away.
Now the police and the government are falling over themselves to protect her after she’s served just eighteen months of a three year sentence.
She’s being put into a witness protection programme, going to get a new life, Australia and Sweden are possible new homes and the tax payer will pick up the bill.
Yes she’s going to be a hated woman but she deserves to take her chance if she wants out of prison, not get a free ride to a cushy life
