US goalkeeper Kasey Keller has gone up in my estimation after I read his comments in German newspaper Tagesspiegel.

Keller who used to play in England for Tottenham and Leicester and now plays for Borussia Moenchengladbach in Germany said in his interview, ‘I have a few US friends in the music and film business, really famous people. They tell me,’If you see Beckham, tell him we don’t care.’ You know, Beckham goes into a store in Beverly Hills and asks them to close for him. At the same time, George Clooney comes in and says ‘hi’ and leaves again.
Who the devil is this guy to think that he can have the shop for himself?
Los Angeles doesn’t give a stuff about him.’

Way to go Kasey, a lot of people in the UK couldn’t give a stuff about him either, but he and his dopey wife have their heads so far up their own backsides they’ll never realise it.
