Carphone Warehouse and BSkyB are both going to start offering broadband band connnections according to the BBC.
That’s all good as far as I’m concerned, the more provider’s the better.
I used to be with Wanadoo and switched to Tiscali. What a nightmare trying to upgrade my broadband with them. Umpteen times trying online, no go. Call customer services, technical support, etc, numerous numbers again and again, one minute its a woman in northeast England, the next its a guy in India, neither has a clue how to solve your problem.
Eventually I got through to somebody who said the solution was to contact a part of the technical department that was only available monday-friday, 9-5pm.
Very convenient when you’re working daytime hours.
If you’re thinking of using Tiscali, don’t. I’m still trying to upgrade, still willing to pay them more per month but their systems won’t allow it.
