Terminology

Looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s done a good job of winding up the pc brigade in California by referring to the Democrats as ‘girlie men’.

Any politician who calls a spade a spade is half way to getting my vote, and if it stirs up muppets in the mould of Senator Kuehl from the California Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Caucus, what ever the hell that is, so much the better.

The Democrats say the remark was homophobic and sexist, I’m surprised they didn’t include racist, fascist, fattist and a few more ‘ist’s’.
Next time Arnold just call them pussies and see them really flip out.

I’ve got no problem with him speaking his mind and calling the Dems ‘girlie men’. I’d also like to say if Bush/Cheney don’t have the guts to come out front of you and say ‘I don’t want to represent you, I want to represent those special interests, the oil companies, the arms industry…’ if they don’t have the guts, I call them girlie men.

I don’t think calling the Democrats “girlie men” is equivalent to calling a spade a spade. That’s like me calling Schwarzenegger - an overgrown, bad actor, with no political past who bought his way into governing California - and then claiming that its politically correct.
