The Bestseller

The latest Harry Potter book came out over the weekend and people were lining up for hours to get a copy.
I haven’t read any of these books and still don’t really have an interest in getting them. Are they that good or is it a case of the publicity snowball rolling and rolling.

Either way I guess JK Rowling is getting even more minted.

Probably a little of both. I’ve heard from numerous adults that they enjoyed the books, and my 12 y.o. niece can’t get enough of them, so it seems to appeal to a wide market. Be interesting to see how long it continues and how many more movies they can make.

Still, anything that encourages kids to read is a good thing in my book.

I have not read any of the potter books either, which makes two of us.

I’ve read them all except for the latest. I’m 60. Enjoyed them a lot.

Seeing anyone read gives me a lift. I’m thrilled these books are *hot*. They’re magical. And what a good, positive, clean hype.

An honest review on a similar vibe to quite a few that I’ve read.
Could be that Harry Potter’s reaching his peak.

I’ve never read any of them I don’t have any intention of reading them either. My two sisters and one of my brothers love the books and movies.
