The mighty greenback

Now’s the time to head to the US if you want to go on spending spree, the pounds at an eleven year high against the dollar, I’ll have to check what’s on sale online as well.
But if you’re thinking of hitting the UK this year you’ll be finding things just a little bit more expensive, if that’s possible.

May I suggest a trip to San Francisco?

Not only is is cheap right now, but the weather is great.
Plus: A local guy (and taxi driver) will offer free advice on where to stay and what to do.

email me with any questions.
(oh, and if you need a ride from the airport, I would be happy to do that too, but not for free)

Nice one Joe, and after driving a cab in Santa Barbara I wouldn’t except a free ride, cabbies earn their money.
I definitely thinking a US trip would be good at some point this year.

good, I’ll help you plan it when I get over there, Chris. 1.5 more weeks.
And ok, maybe 3 big beers instead of five.

Anything under double figures is ok.

The only thing wrong with my double figure is that it is quite difficult to buy trousers that fit.
