Wave the flag

The Chancellor, Gordon Brown, wants Britain to have a national day maybe on the lines of 4th July in the US. A bit of a backflip from a party that for years has characterized anybody who waved the Union Jack as a racist reactionary.

Labour are scrambling around for ideas after years of telling immigrants that its fine to come to the UK and live like you always did back in some third world village without bothering to integrate into wider society. Now we’re producing our own Al Qaeda foot soliders they’re a little bit worried.

One tip for Brown, if you’re going to bring in this artificial holiday which I don’t think most people will buy into, have it in June or July not tag it onto Rememerance Sunday in November as has reported.
