What’s the Vegas line?

The older people get the more they seem to worry about getting their affairs in order before they die.
This 91 year old in Devon has gone to the trouble of betting £500 on himself dying before the year’s out to save his relatives the inheritance tax.

A great gesture but if the old boy lives until Christmas he’s blown his dough and if he dies why not let the relations pick up the bill, they’re the ones who’ll be benefiting.
William Hill could also have been a bit more generous with the odds.
