Why go?

The kidnappers of the latest western hostages to be taken in Iraq say they’ll kill their prisoners if all those held by the US in Iraq and elsewhere are not released.
We all know that’s not going to happen , like we all knew that a Briton, an American and two Canadians wandering around Baghdad with no protection on a ‘Christian peace mission’, amongst some of the most volatile muslims around had a better than average chance of being kidnapped.

I can’t say I have too much sympathy with these guys because people have been getting their heads lopped off in Iraq for the last two years and the warnings are clear for anyone who doesn’t have a deathwish.
