The case of the two NYPD detectives who were convicted today of being contract killers for the Luchese Family is definitely life imitating art.

One of the detectives, Louis Eppolito, had a small part in Goodfellas. He’s in the scene in the Bamboo Lounge where Henry Hill runs through who’s in the crew,’ there was Jimmy and Tommy and me and there was Anthony Stabile, Frankie Carbone, and there was Mo Black’s brother Fat Andy (Eppolito) and his guys Frankie the Wop, Freddie No-Nose….’.

Working on that set must have seemed no different to his everyday working life.
