Top Ten London shows

shows.jpgIf you’re looking forward to seeing a show in London over the Christmas period here are the current top ten West End productions.

1. Billy Elliot On at the Victoria Palace Theatre, tickets cost between £17.50-£55.
2. The Lion King Playing at the Lyceum in the Strand, tickets £20-£52.50.
3. Dirty Dancing At the Aldwych Theatre with tickets from £29-£59.50, musical version of the movie with all the same songs.
4. Phantom of the Opera Her Majesty’s Theatre in the Haymarket has this production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Tickets cost £20-£52.50.
5. We Will Rock You At the Dominion Theatre in Tottenham Court Road and running until October next year, tickets cost £39.50-£55.
6.Mary Poppins Not sure who’s doing the dodgy Dick Van Dyke cockney accent, this musical is at the Prince Edward Theatre in Old Compton Street and tickets are £15-£55.
7.Mamma Mia! The demand to hear old ABBA songs shows no sign of letting up, Mamma Mia is at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Coventry Street with tickets from £25-£55.
8.The Producers Spring time for Hitler is still packing them in at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Tickets range from £10-£49.
9.Les Miserables Running for over 20 years in the West End, now at the Queens Theatre in Shaftsbury Avenue, tickets are £12.50-£52.50.
10.Guys and Dolls Now taking booking until April 2007, this popular show had Patrick Swazye in the lead during its autumn run, playing at the Piccadilly Theatre, tickets cost £20-£55.
