The draw for the 2006 World Cup starts in just under an hour in Leipzig, Germany. Probably going to be millions around the world tuning into this ceremony to find out who their team will play and its always interesting when teams from different continents get matched against each other.
Let’s see who Heidi Klum and friends pick out.

20.45.. will some at the BBC shove a boot in John Motson’s mouth, he won’t stop talking over the FIFA presenter who’s speaking english.

20.47.. .Australia in Brazil’s group.. tough one

20.50.. England have Paraguay and Sweden so far
20.51.. Argentina in with Holland..what a game that will be
20.59.. Germans got themselves an easy group of Poland, Costa Rica and Ecuador
21.00 .. and England’s is pretty easy.. Paraguay, Sweden and Trinidad..lucky
21.02.. USA just got stuffed.. Italy, Czech Rep, Ghana, three tough teams

Here’s the finished draw. England are so lucky, win their easy group then play the runner-up from group A, which will probably be Poland, no excuses if you don’t win the cup Sven.

A definite possibility Hanno, England will be so over confident of winning that group that I can see them slipping up somewhere.
Germany and England had better practice penalty kicks.

I’m actually cheering on the USA and hope they can fight through to the next round. Good thing for them is there are no expectations, the pressure is on the other teams.

Also pulling for Australia.

I totally agree with what you’re saying. I wish more people felt this way and took the time to express themselves. Keep up the great work.

England definitely will walk the group but what about later on?
